How does your online transcription service work?

This convenient service enables you to send us audio files for transcription from any PC using a secure connection. We immediately transcribe the audio—translating it, if necessary—and provide you with a transcript as a document file that you can download via another secure connection. You can then print or store the file. You can also send audio in other forms—including cassettes, micro cassettes, videotape, and DVDs—by any standard delivery service. We will return the material with your transcript.

3

How secure is your online transcription service?

We use special dedicated file transfer sites that are password protected and encrypted using the highest level of Internet security available. Our extensive experience with law enforcement agencies means we maintain flawless transition of chain of evidence. In addition, all Conduit linguists hold federal security clearances from the Department of Justice, Department of Defense, State Department and other federal agencies.

4

What makes Conduit Transcriptions superior to other services?

We believe that our superior linguists provide superior results. Conduit Transcriptions linguists have the unique ability to understand both formal and slang vocabularies-including extensive knowledge of drug terminology. We look for top-level linguists with four-year college degrees who are native speakers of the language. We emphasize people with investigative backgrounds, such as prior military, private investigation, or police experience. In addition to completing extensive written and oral tests, candidates must be U.S. citizens, have at least four years of experience in each of their language of expertise, and demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly in English as well as their native language. All of our linguists hold federal security clearances from the Department of Justice.
